VMU or Vinayaka Missions University is in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. It was started in the year 1983. There are various undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in this. It was given the deemed status by the Ministry of Human Resources development. There are about 27 national colleges and 3 international colleges under VMU.

VMU conducts the All India Common Entrance Examination for admission in ME , MBA and MCA.

VMU AICEE 2011 Important Dates :

• Date of Written test – 21st May 2011
• Last date of submission of Application form – 7th May 2011

VMU AICEE 2011 Eligibility Criteria :

• For M.E. – The candidates who are interested in this should have the Bachelors degree or equivalent in relevant area of specialization.
• For MBA – The interested students should have done a Degree Program.
• For MCA – The candidates interested in this should be pass in any degree with Mathematics / Statistics as a subject in degree level or Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level.

VMU AICEE 2011 Selection Procedure : The selection of interested candidates is done on the basis of marks obtained in All India entrance exam. Later on the course and college will be allotted through counseling.

VMU AICEE 2011 Application Procedure : You can get the application form by post from the University itself by paying Rs.600 in form of DD or by cash payment from University at Chennai. The form duly filled has to be send to The Controller of Examinations, Vinayaka Missions University, Sankari Main Road, Ariyanoor Salem, Tamil Nadu.

VMU AICEE 2011 Examination Centers : The exam will be held at Salem, Chennai, Madurai, Nagercoil, Puducherry, Kottayam, Palakkad, Kolkata, Patna, Bhagalpur, Dharbanga & Ranchi.
