UCO bank is formerlyg known as known as United Commercial Bank. It was founded in 1943 with main office at Kolkata. The idea of launching this bank was given by Ghanshyam Das Birla.It was nationalized by Indian Government in the year 1969. It also has two branches in overseas i.e. in Hong Kong & Singapore.

UCO Bank Probationary Officer PO Eligibility Criteria : In order to get the post of PO in UCO bank, the candidate has to satisfy certain eligibility criteria. He / She must be an Indian citizen with at age between 21 – 30 years of age. Also he / she must have the bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

UCO Bank PO Exam Pattern : The written test is of 2 types- Objective & Descriptive. Objective test is based on questions on General Awareness, Reasoning ability, English Language & Quantitative Aptitude. Descriptive test is just qualifying type.
