UCO bank i.e United Commercial Bank was established in the year 1943 in Kolkata by the support of Mr. G.D Birla. It is one of the oldest banks of the country. It was nationalized in the year 1969 & since 1985, it is mainly addressed by its short name i.e UCO bank.

UCO bank recently disclosed the advertisement of recruitment of Clerks. There are 1000 posts of clerks in various branches of UCO bank.

UCO Bank Clerk Eligibility Criteria :

1. Nationality : Should be an Indian citizen.
2. Age : Should be at least 18 years of age & should not be more than 28 years. The relaxation of age for the reserved category is according to the rules of government.
3. Education : The interested candidates must be passed in 10+2 with at least 60% (50% for SC / ST candidates) aggregate marks or having its equivalent degree or a degree in any discipline.

Salary of Clerk : Rs 7200 – 400/3 – 8400 – 500/3 – 9900 – 600/4 – 12300 – 700/7 – 17200 –
1300/1 – 18500 – 800/1 – 19300

UCO Bank Clerk Selection Procedure : Those who wants to get selected as clerks in UCO bank has to give written test as well as interview.

1. Written Test : There will be objective as well as descriptive tests. Objective test is of 200 marks containing 200 questions. They have to be attempted in 95 minutes. Descriptive test is just qualifying test which has to be attempted in 60 minutes. Both the tests will be in English & Hindi languages. The candidates will have the option to attempt the tests in either language. In objective test there will be negative marking also. The questions are on following topics -
   Reasoning
   Numerical Ability
   English Language
   Clerical Aptitude
2. Interview : Those who are able to qualify the written test will be called for the interview.

UCO Bank Clerk Application Procedure : The application fee is Rs. 300/- fro General category & Rs. 50/- for SC / ST / PC / Ex-Servicemen candidates. The candidates have to apply ONLINE only through the official website www.ucobank.com.
