United Bank of India was founded in the year 1950 as a result of merging of 4 banks of Bengal – Comilla Banking Corporation, Comilla Union Bank, Bengal Central Bank & Hooghly Bank. The main office of UBI is in Kolkata. In the year 2009, Government of India approved the restructuring United Bank of India.

UBI PO Eligibility : The age of the candidate applying for this should be at 21 years minimum & 31 years maximum. In academic terms, the candidate must be a graduate or post graduate from a recognized university with at least 55% aggregate marks. Also you must have completed a computer course from the institute recognized by either the Central Government or State Government or AICTE.

UBI PO Exam Pattern : This is divided into 2 stages – Written test & Interview.
Written test is of two types – objective & descriptive tests.
Objective test is based on the topics – Reasoning, Quantitative, General Awareness & English Language.

Descriptive test is based on General topics. However, these topics are not specified.
