RBI Scholarship for Faculty Members from UGC Institutes

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) launched a scholarship scheme for the Faculty members from Academic institutions. RBI is giving this scholarship in order to grasp the capable candidates who are able to carry the projects successfully & indirectly contributing to the success of RBI.  The selected ones have to work on short term research in areas of Finance & monetary, banking, real states issues & other fields of RBI.

Last date of receipt of completed Application form : 5th February 2010

Scholarship Scheme will be active from May 2010.

Number of scholarships : There is maximum of 5 scholarships.

RBI Scholarship Eligibility Criteria : The interested candidate should be a full time faculty member teaching finance or economics in any UGC- recognized institutions in India. Also the aspirant must be an Indian by nationality.

RBI Scholarship Age criteria : The candidate should not be more than 55yrs.

Application Procedure for RBI Scholarship : The interested candidates have to send a hard copy of completed application form along with research proposal of not more than 1000 words & curriculum vitae (CV) to The Director, development Research Group, DEAP, Central Office, RBI, Fort, Mumbai, Pine code :400001.

RBI Scholarship Selection Procedure : The selection will be on the basis of research proposal & CV. The selected ones have to undergo a interview by the Panel. The selected scholars will have to work on the project theme as decided by the Bank.
