If you are interested in getting admission in Engineering colleges of Punjab, here is the guide to this. You have to opt for Punjab Combined Entrance Test  (CET) which is conducted by the Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.

PET Examination Eligibility Criteria :

  1. Age : The applicant should not be more than 22 years of age in the year of examination with 3 years relaxation for SC/ST.
  2. Educational Qualification : The candidate must be passed in 10+2 (Science stream) exam with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized university. Those who have passed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology from eh Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training with 60% are also eligible.

PET Examination Admission procedure : You can get the information bulletin & application from from the Coordinator, CET Punjab Technical University & Jalandhar on cash payment of prescribed fee.

PET Examination Exam Pattern : The selection pattern will be on the basis of written exam which is divided in 5 session. Session I, II & III contains objective type questions on Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics & Descriptive type questions containing short answer questions & numerical problems. Session IV is fro testing the proficiency in Punjabi language. Session V is for testing Architectural aptitude.
