NTPC stands for National Thermal Power Corporation. This is responsible for providing power every where in the country. It is ranked as no.1 in power providing organization. NTPC is combined name of 22 power plants. It provides almost 28.5% of the total power consumption of the country.

NTPC hires Executive Trainee ET for the technical and HR posts.

NTPC ET Eligibility Criteria : Those who wish to apply for this, should not be more than 27 years of age. They should have the engineering degree with minimum 65% aggregate marks. He / she must have the degree from a recognized university.

NTPC ET Exam Pattern : The selection is based on the written test and interview. Written test is divided into 2 parts. 1st part is aptitude test where there are 35 objective type questions. 2nd part is technical test which contains 55 objective questions. The time allotted for attempting both parts is 2 hours. For each correct answer 4 marks will be allotted and 1/4 mark will be deducted for wrong attempt.
