NMAT Eligibility Criteria
Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies conduct its individual entrance exam known as NMAT i.e Narsee Monjee Aptitude Test. This institute is situated in Mumbai. It is one of the prime institutes of Management courses. Its 28 years since its establishment. Still then this institute is trying to give its students the best input so that they have a bright future ahead.
Programs offered are : MBA Core, MBA Pharmaceutical Management, MBA Actuarial science, MBA Banking Management, MBA Capital Market, Part Time MBA.
Eligibility Criteria : The applicant must have Bachelor’s degree under the pattern 10+2+3 with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university. Those appearing in the final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible but admission will be according to the various criteria mentioned above.
Eligibility Criteria of individual courses :
- MBA Core : Should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50 % aggregate marks from a recognized university. Those having work experience of 2 yrs. post qualification will be preferred.
- MBA Actuarial Science : Should have either Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics / computer science / statistics / engineering / allied science / economics OR Graduate or Post graduate degree in Mathematical subjects with at least 50% aggregate marks. OR, Graduate/ Post graduate degree with at least 85% in Mathematics / Statistics.
- MBA Banking Management & MBA Capital Market : Should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks. @ yrs. work experience will be preferred.
- MBA Pharmaceutical Management : Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) in Life Sciences/ Pharmacy, Microbiology and bio-tech, bio-chemistry from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Also Post Graduates in Sociology / psychology / Economics / Anthropology are eligible. Two years post qualification work experience will be preferred.
- Part Time MBA : Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from recognized University OR Equivalent pattern recognized by the UGC & AIU. Three Years Post qualification work experience in Supervisory / Executive Cadre will be preferred.

I am Srjain Khanna from Indore, a student. I would like to enquire about the eligibility for the MBA programs of NMIMS. I have 49.56% in my bachelor’s degree. I would like to know that whether this would be considered as 50% for determining eligibility for the programs . Kindly help me with query.
