National Institute of Homeopathy NIH is one of the most prestigious institutes of Homeopathy. It is situated in Kolkata & is an autonomous institution under the Department of Ayush, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. This institute invites application for the course of BHMS which is of 5 1/2 years duration including 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship.

NIH BHMS Eligibility Criteria : There are certain criteria which every one has to satisfy  before applying. These are -

1. Age : should be at least 17 years of age in the year in which he / she wish to apply.
2. Education : Should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% (45% marks for SC / ST) aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English as compulsory subjects. He / she must have passed the qualifying exam from a recognized board. Those who are appearing in the final year of the qualifying exam can also apply provided the result is out before the admission in BHMS & has secured the minimum required percentage of marks.

NIH BHMS Exam Pattern : There are 93 seats in BHMS course in NIH. The selection is through written test. This is for 3 hours duration. There will be 200 multiple choice questions . The questions will be on the following subjects -

1. 60 questions are on Physics
2. 60 questions on Chemistry
3. 60 on Biology
4. 20 questions are on General Knowledge
