This is a common entrance exam for the admission in all the Health Sciences in various colleges of Maharashtra. The Government of Maharashtra is appointed a Competent Authority for the MHT – CET for each stream. The seats in Health Science Courses are at all Government / Municipal Corporation and Government aided Health Science institutions. The respective Competent Authorities shall devise the system of Counseling and Selection.. For selection to Health Science degree courses, The Director, Medical Education and Research (DMER), Mumbai is the Competent Authority. The merit list of MHT-CET is utilized for the  admission in  Government. / Corp. / Government. Aided Colleges of Health Sciences degree courses.

MHT CET Exam Pattern : There is 3 papers in the exam. Each paper is of 90 mins i.e 1 1/2 hrs. 1st paper is be of Physics & Chemistry. 2nd is of Biology and 3rd is of Mathematics. Each paper is of 100 marks i.e total 300 marks. There is no choice in the test. You have to answer all the questions. Those who are appearing for medical dental & health sciences courses have to give 1st & 2nd paper whereas those appearing for engineering exam have to give 1st & 3rd paper.

MHT CET Syllabus : The syllabus will be that of 12th std.
