M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
M.Tech is the Masters in Technology. This course is for the engineering students. After doing M.Tech, a student gets many job opportunities & apply in almost all jobs related to Engineering students. This is a good course.
In order to get admission in M.Tech, he / she has to clear GATE i.e Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. GATE score accepted by almost all the reputed & recognized universities & institutes all over the country.
GATE Eligibility Criteria : There is no age criteria for this. Students of any age can give this.
- Those who has B.Tech / B.Arch / B. Pharma degree are eligible. Also those who are in final or pre-final year of such exams are also eligible.
- Those candidates who have taken the examination conducted by the professional societies recognized by UPSC / AICTE as equivalent to B. Tech / B. E. are also eligible.
- The candidates having Masters degree in any branch of Science / mathematics / computer applicationĀ / statistics or equivalent are eligible. Those who are in final or pre final year of such program are also eligible.
- Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master degree program in Engineering/Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master degree program and Dual Degree program in Engineering/Technology are eligible to give GATE.
Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech : You must qualify GATE to get admission in this. However, some colleges have direct entry in this. There is reservation for the SC / ST categories which is according to the government rules.
