Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary subject that includes study of various other subjects also. This includes tissue culture, molecular biology, fisheries, agricultural engineering etc. In biotechnology, both undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses are available. A large no. of people go for it every year due to very good career opportunities after this.

About M.Sc. in Biotechnology : This is a postgraduate course and is of 2 years duration. It is taken after the bachelor’s degree. There will be 2 exams in the whole course out of which one will be conducted after the end of each year.

M.Sc. in Biotechnology Eligibility Criteria : The interested candidates are required to have B.Sc. degree in Biotechnology. Candidates with bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, Technology or Medicine (MBBS) with at least 55% marks are eligible to apply for M.Sc Biotechnology.
