Orthopedics is the branch of Science which deals with the study of musculoskeletal system. The Orthopedic doctor is specialized in diagnosis and proper treatment of the diseases of musculoskeletal system. The parts of the body which is included in this science are bones, ligaments, muscles, joints, tendons and nerves.

After the MBBS, those who are interested in this field can go for the post graduation in Orthopedics. There are many institutes in India and aboard which provide this type of courses. The candidates have to clear the entrance test to get admission in this.
