Homeopathy is another mode of treatment which is based on Symptom similarity i.e. those remedies, which when capable to produce similar manifestations in a healthy individual, can cure the disease symptoms also. This alternative method of treatment was founded in Germany in year 1796 by Samuel Hahnemann. This science is purely based on proving on healthy human beings. It works on the principle of vital force.

Homeopathy has become very popular these days especially among children as there is no side effects. Homeopathy course is BHMS i.e Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery. This is a 5 1/2 years course including 1 year of rotatory internship. Also there is Post graduation in homeopathy i.e. MD.
There are many colleges in India which offer this BHMS course.
