Biotechnology is the science based on technology used in the field of agriculture, medicine & in food science. In this, there is study of processes in which organisms are involved in preparation of organic items. Some of the products which are covered under this are milk & milk products, beer etc.

Courses in Biotechnology : There is graduation in biotechnology like B.E / B.Sc. / B. Tech  & after this, post graduation courses are also available i.e M.Sc. or M.Tech in Biotechnology. Even after doing graduation in Physics / Chemistry / Biology / Microbiology, there is option of doing Research in Biotechnology. It is also a good course & there is good job opportunities after this.
