In our country, where population is maximum, people don’t really know about the insurance policies & their benefits. So LIC is trying its best to make people aware of all the policies introduced newly so that everyone draws full benefits. For this, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) conducts exam every year for recruiting development Officers.

Important Dates :
Date of LIC Development Officers Written Exam 2010 : In September 2010
Date of sale of Application Form : The blank application form with all the details are published in Employment news in the month of July 2010
Date of submission of completed application form : In starting August 2010

LIC Development Officers Exam Age limit : The candidate should be at least 21 years as on 1st July of examination year.

LIC Development Officers Exam Eligibility Criteria : The applicant should have Bachelor’s degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Agriculture or Law of Indian Or Foreign University or an equivalent qualification.

LIC Development Officers Exam Application fee : It is Rest. 30/- for General Category & SC/ST are exempted from this.

LIC Development Officers Exam Pattern : The selection will be on the basis of written test & Interview. Those who qualify the written test are called for interview. The questions in the written test will be on the basis of reasoning, numerical ability, general awareness & English/Hindi language. The test will be in both English & Hindi & the candidate has  his own choice in choosing the language.
