KEAM stands for Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Examination. This is the entrance exam of the Kerala state. This is conducted for admission in various Professional degree courses in Institutes of Kerala under the supervision of Commission of Kerala. This exam is conducted every year in the month of April.

KEAM Admission Procedure : The candidate can get the application form & brochure from the selected Canara Banks in Kerala & outside the state. One one form is needed for applying in more than 1 course.

All candidates will receive the application form, OMR Data Sheet, an envelope bearing the address of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and the Prospectus. Candidates should ensure that the Application number printed in the Application Form, OMR Data Sheet and on the cover are the same.

KEAM Application Fee : It is Rs. 700/- for General Candidates & Rs. 350/- for SC / ST. Those who want their test  center in Dubai has to send a DD of Rs. 7000/- drawn in the favor of Commissioner for Entrance examination payable at Triruvananthapuram along with the application form.

KEAM Exam Pattern : There is two papers conducted on two consecutive days. All the questions will be multiple choice questions i.e objective type. The two papers are -
Paper I  is on Chemistry & Physics
Paper II is on Mathematics or Biology

Those who wish to take admission in Engineering courses except Architecture have to attempt Paper I & Paper II based on Mathematics. Those applying for Medical, Veterinary & Agriculture courses have to give Paper I & Paper II of Biology.
