JMET stands for Joint Management Entrance Test. To get admission to Post Graduate in management programs in 7 institutes namely IISC Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras & IIT Roorkee, one has to clear JMET. The Management programs are of 2 years.
JMET Exam Pattern : It is very important for the candidates to understand the exam pattern in order to clear the exam. It is a written exam. The duration of exam is 3 hrs. There will be 120 objective questions carrying 120 marks. There will be four answers for a questions & you have to mark the correct one. There are four sections in the test which are as follows :
- Section I : Verbal communications
- Section II : Logical Reasoning
- Section III : Quantitative Ability
- section IV : Data Interpretation
There are 30 questions in each section. There is also negative marking for the wrong answer. For each wrong answer , 0.25 marks will be deducted. Those who qualifies this written test will be called for group discussion & Interview. Based on this, final list of admission will be decided.
