Integrated Common Entrance Test ICET Eligibility Criteria

ICET is the entrance exam for seeking admission in Master of Computer application (MCA) & Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 13 universities of Andhra Pradesh & their affiliates. This is conducted by any university of Andhra Pradesh as suggested by the State Government.

ICET Eligibility criteria : The candidate must satisfy the following conditions in order to being capable of applying-



  1. Should be an Indian by Nationality & should satisfy the local or non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh educational Institutions order.
  2. If the candidate belongs to other nationality then he / she should satisfy the rules of the university concerned.
  3. Should  have Bachelor’s degree except BOL & BFA or is appearing in the final year exams of Bachelor’s degree from any Andhra Pradesh university or any equivalent recognized university.
  4. The candidate should have at least Bachelor’s degree of not less than 3 years duration from any recognized university. Also for admission in MBA, he/she should have mathematics at 10+2 level whereas for admission in MCA, the candidate should have mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level as well as at graduation level.
  5. The candidates who are appearing for final year degree examination this year are also eligible for ICET.
  6. Admission into any college depends on its recognition/affiliation by the Statutory bodies.
