IOB i.e Indian Overseas Bank is one of the premier nationalized bank. This bank even have the branches outside India. The main office is in Chennai. It has got about 1400 branches in India & many in other countries like Singapore, Rangoon etc.

This bank recruits many people every year as Probationary officers.

Indian Overseas Bank IOB PO Eligibility : The candidate must be minimum of 21 years of age & maximum 30 years. He / She must have done the Bachelor’s degree in any discipline form a recognized university with at least 60% aggregate marks. Also other essential requirements are Computer literacy and diploma in Banking & Finance from Indian Institute of Banking & Finance IIBF.

Indian Overseas Bank IOB PO Exam Pattern : There is written test as well as interview. The written test is objective as well as descriptive tests. The Objective test has 225 questions of 200 marks to be solved in 135 minutes. The questions are on Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude, general awareness & English language. Descriptive test contains 5 questions of 100 marks to be attempted in 60 minutes. For Interview, candidates who qualifies the written test are called.
