Indian Diabetes Research Foundation IDRF Admissions

IDRF is in Chennai & provides training programs. It provides admission to P.G. Diploma in Clinical Diabetology Program. This institute is a non-profit & non-commercial institute established by Dr. A. Ramachandran. This is meant to conduct various research & educational activities in diabetes health care.

IDRF provides training program of 2 years for doctors. On completion of this training, the doctors will be awarded ‘Fellowship of Indian Diabetes Research Foundation’.

IDRF Eligibility  Criteria :

  1. Educational Qualification : The interested candidate must have completed the MBBS degree with compulsory rotatory internship of 1 year. Also he / she must possess the registration certificate issued by Medical Council of India (MCI).
  2. Age : The candidate must not be more than 35 years of age.

IDRF Course Fee : Those who wish to join, must pay the course fee of Rs.30,000/- before the starting of the training program. This fee is to be paid through demand draft drawn in the favor of Indian Diabetes Research Foundation payable at Chennai.

IDRF Stipend : The trainees will get a monthly stipend of Rs.9,000/-. They have to arrange the accommodation by their own in Chennai.

IDRF Selection procedure :The candidates will be selected through the written test & interview. The application form of all those who had sent them, will be assessed by the Selection Committee & the short listed candidates will be called for written test & interview.
