Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Navik Recruitment 2011
Indian Coast Branch is one of the most renowned branches of Indian Armed Forces which is an agency of the Ministry of Defence. The Indian Coast Guard was established in the year 1978 under the Coast Guard Act. It was established as the independent entity. The main function of coast guard is to protect maritime interests of India.
Every year there is recruitment of male candidates in the Indian Coast Guard as Yantriks, Naviks (General Duty) and Naviks (Domestic Branch).
Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Navik Eligibility Criteria :
- For Yantrik : The age of the interested candidates must be between 18-22 years. They must have passed 10th class with diploma in either Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics engineering which is recognized by AICTE.
- For Navik (General Duty) : The applicant for this post must not be less than 18 years of age & not more than 22 years. In education qualifications, they must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- For Navik (Domestic Branch) : The age of the candidate must be between 18-22 years & those who have done matriculation at least, will be eligible.
Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Navik Physical Standards Required : The height of the candidate must be 157 cms minimum with well proportioned chest. The weight of the candidate must be in proportion with height. The eye sight, hearing capability should be correct. They should have good set of teeth. The candidate should be medically fit and healthy.
Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Navik Selection Procedure : The selection will be through written test, interview and physical fitness test.
