Indian Law Society ILS was founded in the year 1923 as a Public Charitable Trust. Later on in the year 1924, it established  the Law College. Since then, it has become one of the premiere institute for legal studies in India. It was accredited the A+ level in 2004 by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). This institute has the 90% placements every year. So those who gets admission in this has a fair chance of getting placed.

ILS Courses and Eligibility Criteria : These are -

  1. B.A LL.B. – This is a 3 years course consisting of 6 semesters.
    Eligibility – Must have Bachelor’s degree in any stream of Arts, Commerce or Science with at least 45% aggregate marks.
  2. B.S.L LL.B – This is Bachelor of Socio-Legal Science (B.S.L.) which is offered after completion of 3 years of LL.B. program. The B.S.L. LL.B. degree is a 5 years course containing 10 semesters.
    Eligibility : The interested candidates must have passed the 12th Std i.e Higher secondary School Certificate Exam or equivalent exam with at least 45% aggregate marks. The candidate must have passed this from any school if the State Board of Maharashtra.

ILS Pune Application procedure : The interested candidates can get the application form from the college office. They have to fill it completely & send to the college office with all the required documents, before or on the designated date.

ILS Pune Selection Procedure : The selection is entirely on the basis of merit. Those who are able to qualify the eligibility criteria will be included in the merit list. The names of the students whose name appears in the merit list, will be called for the interview & final selection will be made on this.
