IISc Bangalore Integrated PhD Entrance Exam

IISc is Indian Institute of Science. The institute was established in the year 1909. It is a research institute which is situated in Bangalore. IISc provides various degree courses which is divided into 2 categories. These are PhD, Integrated PhD, MS, ME, M.Tech, MBA and MDes.

IISc is one of the most reputed and renowned institute which has excellent infrastructure and faculty.

IISc Bangalore provides Integrated PhD program in the following disciplines :

  1. Chemical Sciences
  2. Mathematical Sciences
  3. Physical Sciences
  4. Biological Sciences

IISc Integrated PhD Important Dates :

  • Sale of Application form : From Mid February to Mid March
  • Submission of Application Form : Till March starting
  • IISc Entrance Exam Date : End April

IISc Bangalore Integrated PhD Eligibility Criteria :

  1. Chemical Science : B.Sc degree or equivalent with Chemistry as one of the main subjects associated with Mathematics at PUC (Plus 2) level.
  2. Mathematical Science : He / she must have the B.Sc. degree or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects or the candidate must have bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology.
  3. Physical Sciences : The applicant must have B.Sc or equivalent degree with Physics as a subject.
  4. Biological Sciences : The candidate must have the bachelors degree or equivalent in either Chemical, Biological or Physical Science in first class.

IISc Bangalore Integrated PhD Exam Pattern : The selection is based on written test and interview. The written test is of 3 hours duration.
