Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Indian Engineering Services (IEC) examinations every year & selects about 250 – 350 engineers to be placed in various government institutions where engineers are required like Central Engineering services (CES), Military Engineering Services (MES) etc.

IES 2011 Notification date : 8.01.2011

IES last date of receipt of completed form : 07.02.2011

IES 2011 written Exam date : 14.05.2011

IES Eligibility criteria : The applicant must have a Engineering degree from any recognized institute. The candidate must  have degree in civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics Engineering.

IES Age Criteria : The candidate must be between 21 – 30 yrs. of age.

IES Application procedure : The applicant have to buy the application form from the post office by cash payment of Rs. 20/- & send it after filling it completely & correctly.
