IBAB Bangalore Bioinformatics Admission

Institute of Bioinformatics & Applied Biotechnology (IBAB) is a department of IT Center of Excellence for Research & Training in Bioinformatics. This institute has got good faculty & facilities with infrastructure in its bioinformatics & biotechnology department. This institute provides postgraduate diploma course in Bioinformatics, Biotechniques & Chemoinformatics.

IBAB Course duration : The various courses available with their duration is mentioned below -

  • PG diploma in Bioinformatics – This is for 18 months
  • PG Diploma in Biotechniques – duration is 8-14 months
  • PG Diploma in Chemoinformatics – 18 months course

IBAB Eligibility Criteria :

  1. PG diploma in Bioinformatics – The applicant must done Bachelor’s degree in either Engineering / Statistics / Physics / Computer science / Mathematics / Chemistry / Pharmacy / Agriculture / Medicine / Veterinary & other Life Sciences with at least 55% aggregate marks.
  2. PG Diploma in Biotechniques – Those who have done either MBBS or, B.Sc, Biotechnology or, M.Sc / B.Tech in Life Sciences are eligible for this.
  3. PG Diploma in Chemoinformatics – The applicant should have  Bachelors or Masters degree in any branch of Chemistry or in Pharmacy or B.Tech / B.E. in Chemical Engineering.

IBAB Application Procedure – The candidate can apply by downloading the application form from the official website or can get them by post by sending the required fee with the request letter.

The application fee is Rs.500/- for Indian Candidates & Rs.1000/- for NRI/Foreign Candidates.
