MCA stands for Master in Computer Application. It is most upcoming & chosen fields these days. A lot of students opt for MCA. They try to pursue MCA from top medical colleges. The main scope of MCA students are in IT industry.
MCA is a three years course consisting of 6 semesters.
There is generally a entrance test for admission in top colleges. Candidates have to clear them to seek admission in them.

MCA Fee Structure : The fee structure of MCA is different in different colleges or universities. The fees in Government aided colleges are little lesser as compared to those in private colleges.
For eg, in BITS, the fees for each semester is approximately Rs. 70,000/- including the hostel & mess.
In IGNOU, the fees of MCA in each Semester is approx. Rs.12,000 – Rs. 15,000/-.

The government colleges have lesser then this.

However, MCA is a good field over all. One can get jobs in various industries like Software companies as software analyst, System Development, Application Software, Internet, Software development, Hardware Technology, System Management etc.
