FCI is Food Corporation of India. It was established in the year 1965 under the Food Corporation Act 1964. It has got 5 zonal offices & 26 regional offices. The objectives of FCI is to implement the national policy for price support operations, procurement, storage, preservation, inter-state movement & distribution operations.

Recently, FCI has given the advertisement for the recruitment of 1600 Assistant Grade III posts in North Zone and 695 Assistant Grade III posts in West Zone.

FCI Assistant Grade III posts Eligibility Criteria :

1. For Assistant Grade III ( General ) : The candidate must have graduate degree from a recognized university in any discipline. with ‘O’ level computer qualification of DOEACC. OR, has the degree in Computer science or computer application.
2. For Assistant Grade III ( Accounts ) : He / she must be a graduate in computer / Mathematics / statistics from a recognized university & ‘O’ level computer degree from DOEACC.
3. For Assistant Grade III  ( Quality Control ) : Should have graduate degree in Science from a recognized university ‘O’ level computer degree from DOEACC.
4. For Assistant Grade III ( Godown ) : He / she must be a graduate in computer / Mathematics / statistics from a recognized university & ‘O’ level computer degree from DOEACC or, degree in Computer science / computer application.

FCI Assistant Grade III Pay scale : Rs. 9,00 – Rs.22,940/-

FCI Assistant Grade III Age Criteria : maximum 25 years.

FCI Assistant Grade III Selection Pattern : There is written test for this. Document verification will be done for the shortlisted candidates on the basis of which selection is done.

FCI Application Procedure : Candidates have to pay Rs.300 through DD payable at Noida.There is no fee for SC/ ST/ PH candidates.The DD & certificates have to be sent along with the printout of online application to the mentioned address before 7th September 2010.
