EIL stands for Engineers India Limited. It is a public sector organization which is undertaken by the Government of India. EIL is under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. EIL was founded in the year 1965 and the main office of the company is in New Delhi, India.

EIL Placement Procedure : The selection in EIL is done through written test and interview. Written test consists of Aptitude test and Technical test. The time allotted for the written test is 2 hours i.e 120 minutes. In Aptitude test, there are questions for 50 marks. The Technical test is of 100 marks. All the questions are multiple choice type and each question is of 1 mark.  There is negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong attempt. In Technical test, questions are on instrumentation, electronics, power, mathematics, analogy and current affairs.
