The function of National Council of educational Research and Training NCERT is Research, Development, Training, Extension, Publication & Dissemination & Exchange programs. It also recommends the textbooks of various subject from class I – XII. This is based on the knowledgeable faculty in the subject.

NCERT Books of Class 6 include textbooks in subjects English, Hindi, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Science, Social Studies & Urdu. NCERT Books of Class VI include books like A Pact with The Sun, Honeysuckle, Balramkatha, Dhurva, Vasant, Mathematics for class VI, Ruchira, History our past, Social & Political Life, The Earth Our Habitat, Urdu Apni Zuban and Urdu Guldasta.
