Cochin University conducts the Cochin University of Science And Technology Common Admission Test CUSAT CAT. This is scheduled every year for admission in various courses. Cochin university is one of the most prestigious institute for the management courses. CUSAT provides various education program in 9 fields.
CUSAT Exam Pattern for various courses :
- First Degree Programs in Engineering & Technology – The exam consists of 2 papers i.e Mathematics & Physics, Chemistry combined. There is 125 objective type questions in each paper. In the combined Physics & Chemistry paper, the ratio is 3:2.
- For B.B.A. LL.B. – There is 150 questions for 450 marks. The questions will be on General Knowledge & current affairs, Law related matters, Reasoning & logical aptitude, and General English.
- For M.A. in Hindi – This test consists of 150 objective questions. The level is such that which is answerable by the candidates.
- For MCA – This is a aptitude test in which there is 150 objective questions. About 50% of questions are from Mathematics covering areas of Engineering Mathematics or B.Sc. subsidiary level mathematics while the remaining will be on logical reasoning.
- For LL.M – There is 2 parts in the test. 1st part is on Proficiency in English, Analytical & other abilities & General knowledge. 2nd paper is on related subjects.
- For MBA (Full time/ Part time, International Business, Travel or Tourism) – There is 150 objective questions on English language, S.S.L.C. level mathematics, reasoning ability & general awareness.
- For PG Programs – There is 150 questions to test the proficiency of the applicant at the Graduate level in the subject of his / her choice.
- For M.A. Applied Economics – There is 150 objective questions to test the proficiency of the applicant at the Graduate level in Economics.
- For Engineering Science - This is for testing the aptitude of an applicant for admission to the interdisciplinary program M.Sc. Environmental Technology.
