CSTE is Certified Software Tester. In this certification is given which would help the candidates can start an educational program to establish standards of initial qualification and can provide direction for the testing function. The certification is to be renewed after every 3 years on the date of the most recent recertification date.

CSTE Eligibility : It is necessary for the candidate to review the CSTE body of knowledge. Also the candidate must have worked with the field which is covered by the certification designation and he / she is ready to take the necessary examination and thus, wish to establish candidacy.

CSTE Exam Pattern : This is a written exam which is divided into 2 parts. The first two parts contains 20 objective type questions whereas the last two parts 10 skill questions. Those who fails to clear the exam can try for 2 more times by submitting the required fees again. But it can be done only after 6 months.
