CSIR NET is Council of Scientific & Industrial Research National Eligibility Test. This is a national level test held for the subjects of pure sciences like Earth Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences & Physical Sciences. CSIR NET exam enables you to apply for post of Lectures in all the Indian institutes/ colleges /universities & also they become Junior Research fellowship JRF.
CSIR NET is held twice in a year in the months of June & December.

Online submission of application form : August 2011
CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria :
- Age :
a. For Junior Research fellowship – The candidate must be between 19 –28 years of age.
b. For Lectureship – There is no upper age limit. He / she should be at least 19 years of age. - Educational Qualifications : The candidate must be a M.Sc. or equivalent degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks.

Dear Sir,
I have done my MBA(Finance) from Sikkim Manipal University through distance learning mode. I scored 79% marks in my MBA examinatin. I wanted to confirm wheather i am eligible for NET exams.If not then what is the option avaliable.Plz reply the query.
