Those who are aspiring to get admission in private Medical, Dental or Engineering colleges in Karnataka has to undertake COMEDK UGET. This stands fro Consortium Of Medical, Engineering & Dental College Karnataka. The courses under which one can take admission through COMEDK UGET are MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), BE (Bachelor of Engineering) & B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture).

COMEDK UGET exam pattern is very simple. You must go through it to crack the exam.

COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria : COMEDK has set certain eligibility criteria which you have to satisfy before applying for the same.

1. Age : The candidate should be at least 17 years of age as in the year of applying.
2. Educational Qualification :
   A. For Medical (MBBS) & Dental (BDS) : The candidates belonging to general category should have at least 50% aggregate marks in class XII or 2nd PUC or equivalent exam. They should have physics, chemistry, biology  & English as compulsory subjects. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category, the minimum aggregate marks required is 40%.Also in common entrance test, you must secure at least 50% in PCB.

   B. For Engineering (BE) : The candidates belonging to general category should have at least 45% aggregate marks in class XII or 2nd PUC or equivalent exam. They should have physics, chemistry, mathematics  & English as compulsory subjects. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category, the minimum aggregate marks required is 40%.
   Also in common entrance test, you must secure at least 40% in PCM.

   
   
   
   

   C. For Architecture (B.Arch) : The candidates belonging to general category should have at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 higher secondary exam or 2nd PUC or equivalent exam. They should have mathematics as compulsory subject along with other subjects or can have 10+3 diploma recognized by Central or State government. Also the candidate should have appeared for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by council of Architecture with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 for both general merit & category candidates.
