Common Entrance Test for Pondicherry Private medical College is conducted for admission in First year of MBBS course in various medical institutes of Pondicherry. The allotment of seats occurs under management quota of the college. The institutes who take students through CETPPMC are Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College & Hospital & Research Centre and Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College & Hospital.

CETPPMC Eligibility Criteria :

1. Educational Qualification – The candidate should have passed the 10+2 exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English as compulsory subjects with at least 50% (40% for SC / ST candidates) aggregate marks in PCB.
2. Age – The candidate must have completed 17 years of age by the month of July in the year of appearing for the exam.

CETPPMC Application Procedure : The interested candidates can get the application form from the Association office at PIMS, Ganapathichettikulam, Kalapet. They can also get them from the colleges / institutions affiliated to CETPPMC. The cost of brochure is Rs.600/- if he / she pays by cash & Rs.650/- by demand Draft which is to be drawn in the favor of Pondicherry Linguistics & Religious Minority Medical & Dental Colleges Welfare Association, payable at Puducherry.

CETPPMC Important Dates :
Last date of receipt of Completed Application form – Starting of July
Date of Exam – Mid of July
Date of Counseling – End of July
Commencement of Classes – End of July.

CETPPMC Exam Pattern : The written test consists of two papers. All the questions will be objective types. The papers are as follows -
a. Paper I – It consists of questions on Physics & Chemistry
b. Paper II – It consists of questions on Zoology & Botany
