CAT Exam Pattern

CAT stands for Common Admission Test is the entrance exam to get admission in management courses in  various colleges. CAT score is being accepted by IIM & other prestigious colleges. In this test, students are tested for their reasoning ability & on the quantitative grounds. The student have to be well prepared in order to get through it.

CAT Eligibility Criteria : The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university. Those giving the final year exams of the qualifying exam can also apply.

CAT Exam Pattern : There will be 90 questions. Each correct answer will be assigned 4 marks whereas for each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted. The whole paper will be for 150 mins. There will be three sections -
Section I will be on Quantitative Ability. 25 questions will be there under this section.
Section II 25 questions will be there on Logic & Data interpretation.
Section III 40 questions on Verbal Ability.
