Cadence Design Systems is a Electronic design automation software and engineering services company. It was founded in 1988. The headquarter of the company is in San Jose, California, USA. The main product of this is the software which is used to design chips and printed circuit board. So this is used by both medium as well as small enterprises.

Cadence Placement Pattern : The selection of the engineers are done on the basis of written test, group discussion and interview. In written test, there are 2 sections – aptitude test and technical test. In aptitude test, there are 100 questions which need to be solved in 25 minutes. You need to be fast and try to attempt all as there is no negative marking for the wrong answer. In Technical test, there are 70 questions on RDBMS, Networking, C Application, OS etc. The time allotted for this section is 40 minutes. Those who qualifies the written test are called for group discussion. In this, all the candidates are divided into groups and are given a topic to discuss. After this, every one has to speak for 1 minute on the same topic. Last comes the Technical and HR interview.
