BITSAT 2011
Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences (BITS) announces admission to first year integrated programmes in 2010 at all the three campus Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad through admission test known as BITSAT.
Dates of submission of BITSAT Application form : Till 31.01.2011
BITSAT dates : Candidates have to give online test on any day between 11th may 2011 to 10th June 2011 as per their convenience.
BITSAT Eligibility Criteria : Candidates should have passed 12th examination from a recognized Central or state board or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects. The applicant must have at least 80% aggregate marks in Physics, chemistry & Mathematics with proficiency in English. Candidates who are appearing for 12th exam in 2011 or have passed in 2010 are also eligible.
BITSAT Application Procedure : The interested candidates have to apply online by filling the application form available at www.bitsadmission.com . After filling the form online , the candidate have to take out the printout & send along with prescribed fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for females) to The Admission Officer, BITS Pilani, Rajasthan, Pin- 333031. One can also get the admission Form by post by sending A demand draft of Rs. 1100/- (s. 600/- for females) to the Admission Officer latest by 21st Jan 2010.

[...] BITSAT Exam Pattern : The test consists of 150 questions to be attempted in 3 hours. All the questions are multiple choice type. Each question is of marks & for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. There are 4 sections under this. This are – a. Part I – Physics – 40 questions b. Part II – Chemistry – 40 questions c. Part III – A) English Proficiency – 15 questions B) Logical reasoning – 10 questions d. Part IV – Mathematics – 45 questions Candidates can skip questions/ mark questions for further ‘review’, can go back and change any of their answers among the 150 questions, but are not allowed to choose more than one option as correct answer.
