Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) is a 5 1/2 years course offered by the Delhi University (DU). This is equivalent to MBBS course & those who have completed the BHMS course are termed as Doctors. The college which provides this course under DU is Nehru Homeopathic College & Hospital (NHMC & H). It is in Defence Colony, Delhi. The college has its own very equipped 100 bed homeopathic hospital.

Nehru Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital (NHMC & H) invites application for the admission in first year of BHMS. There is 156 seats in which 85% is designated as Delhi Quota Seats & 15% is All Quota Seats.

BHMS Eligibility Criteria : Before applying for this, students have to satisfy the following criteria -

1. Age – The candidate must be at least 17 years of the age in the year of applying in BHMS under DU.
2. Educational Qualification – The applicant must have passed in 12th std or equivalent exam with at least 60% aggregate marks. He / she must have Physics, Chemistry , Biology & English as compulsory subjects & has done the qualifying exam from a recognized university school conducting regular classes within the National Capital Territory of India.

BHMS Application Procedure : The interested candidates can get the application form along with information brochure from the Office of Faculty of Homeopathic Medicines, 6th floor, V.P. Chest institute Building, University of Delhi – 110007. This can be obtained by giving Bank draft or cheque drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favor of “Registrar, University of Delhi” payable at Delhi. You can also get this by cash payment of Rs.500 (Rs.350 for SC / ST / PH candidates). You can also get this by post by sending the demand draft of Rs.550 along with request letter to the address mentioned above.

BHMS Selection Procedure : The selection is based on the merit . Those who gets more in 12th std board exams are selected.
