ATMA Exam Pattern

ATMA stands for AIMS Test for Management Admission. It is the entrance test for admission to management & other postgraduate programs like MCA in various institutions of the country. It is conducted by AIMS i.e Association of India Management Schools. ATMA test is recognized by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) & Government of India.

ATMA AIMS MBA Test exam pattern : In the entrance test, there will be 6 sections from 3 test areas (2 sections per test area). 170 questions are divided in 6 sections. The time allotted will be 3 hrs. in total i.e. each section is allotted a fixed time of 30 mins. The sections are :

  1. Section I – Analytical Reasoning skills – 30 questions
  2. Section II – Verbal Skills – 25 questions
  3. Section III – Quantitative Skills – 30 questions
  4. Section IV -  Verbal Skills – 25 questions
  5. Section V – Analytical Reasoning skills – 30 questions
  6. Section VI – Quantitative Skills – 30 questions
    So there will be 170 questions in total. All of them will be multiple choice questions. There will be 4 choices for each question & you have to mark the correct one in the answer sheet.There is negative marking for wrong answer. 1/3rd mark will be deducted for each wrong answer or if you choose more than one answer.



    Each section is allotted 30mins time. So if you have left any question in a section or wants to revise, you can do this only in the time allotted for that section. Once you switch over to another section, you can’t revert back.
