Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission is entangles with certain work items. These are conducting admission examination for RIMC, watching temporary appointments exceeding 3 months & according concurrence  for their continuation, conduction of departmental tests for several departments etc.

APPSC Group II Exam Pattern : There are 3 papers under group II. These are as follows -

Paper I – This paper will be on General Studies where candidates will be given 150 mins to attempt the whole paper. Paper I will be of 150 marks.

Paper II – This paper is also for 150 mins carrying 150 marks. There will be 2 sections under this paper.
Section I will be based on the Social & culture history of Andhra Pradesh i.e questions will be on the basis of history of social  & cultural movements in Andhra Pradesh.
Section II will be on the basis of general overview of the Indian Constitution.

Paper III – This paper again is of 150 marks. The total time allotted for this is 150 mins i.e 2 1/2 hrs. There is again 2 sections under this paper. These are -

Section I will be based on planning in India & Indian Economy.
Section II will be based on the problems & development in rural society with special reference  to Andhra Pradesh.
