Allahabad bank is one of the most prestigious bank in the category of public sector banks. Due to its good financial & banking services, this bank has won many prices. Every year this bank recruits people for the post of probationary officer & so its the right time for every one to know the details about the exam & its question papers.

Allahabad Bank PO Exam Eligibility Criteria : Those who wish to get placed as probationary officers in this bank need to satisfy certain eligibility conditions. The age limit is 21-30 years of age. The Academic qualification required is Graduation degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% aggregate marks. Also those who have basic computer knowledge is also preferable.

Allahabad Bank PO Selection Procedure : There will be written test & interview for selecting the candidates.
A. Written test is of 2 types- objective & descriptive test. The objective test consists of 200 questions for 300 marks. Candidate has to attempt this in 3 hrs. The questions are on topics like -
Reasoning
Quantitative Aptitude

General Awareness
English Language
Computer Knowledge
Descriptive test consists of 5 long questions of 100 marks.
B. Interview – Those who qualifies the written test are called for Interview. This is for 100  marks & candidates are tested on their knowledge of current developments & communication skills.
