The All India Engineering Entrance Examination or AIEEE is an entrance exam on All India basis, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE. It was started in the year 2002. Through this, a student can get admission under various under-graduate engineering and architecture courses in the colleges and institutes that accept the AIEEE score.

This exam is generally held on the last Sunday of April every year. The result is generally declared in the end of the May. It is of 3 hours where questions are based on Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. The syllabus is that of 11th and 12th CBSE board.
In the Chemistry part, both easy and tough questions are asked. Each right answer is provided with 1 mark and for each wrong answer 1/3rd mark is deducted. All the questions are objective type where 4 or more options are given where each one seems to be true. So candidate has to attempt each question very carefully.
