Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune is one of the most reputed medical colleges of the country. It is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik. It conducts admission to MBBS program which is a 5 1/2 years course. There are 130 seats in this. After the completion of the degree, each candidate has to serve for at least 7 years as Commissioned Officers in the Armed Forces Medical Services.

AFMC MBBS No. of Seats : There are 130 seats out of which 105 is for boys & 25 is for girls.

AFMC MBBS Eligibility Criteria :

1. Age – The candidate must be at least 17 years of age & must not be more than 22 years in the year of applying for the course.
2. Educational Qualification – Should have passed 12th exam with at least 60% aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English as compulsory exams & with 50% marks in individual subjects.
3. Other Requirements – Should be medically fit & should not be marries. Even the candidate cannot marry during the course.

AFMC MBBS Selection Pattern : The selection will be on the basis of written test & interview.

AFMC MBBS Exam Pattern : The written test is objective type of 2 hours duration. There will be 200 questions of 1 mark each. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks would be deducted. There will be 50 questions on each subject like Biology, Chemistry & Physics. And 25 questions on Logic & Reasoning And 25 on English Language.

AFMC MBBS Syllabus : The syllabus will be of 11th & 12th std under the 10 + 2 scheme/pre-medical/intermediate science or an equivalent examination of the State Education Board/Indian University
